Refund Policy, Exchange Dates, and Other Important Stuff

Dear friends,

First thing first: these past few days we have been getting a few emails asking for a refund for their tickets. While those who have emailed us before this post will be getting their requested refund, we would like to inform you that since today tickets are non-refundable.

There are two reasons why we've decided to apply the non-refundable policy; firstly, this event is organised independently by a small team which means basically we use our own resources in order to make this event happen. Secondly, the procedure to do a refund takes up a significant amount of our time and, we're swamped with work as it is already.

Having said that, we're very sorry and we ask for your understanding regarding this matter.

Secondly, e-confirmation can be exchanged for tickets one hour before the screening , at the door. But, to avoid long queue, we are planning to do exchange on other dates as well. Details on that will be published later.

Thirdly, as we've stated before this event is independently organised. Any help from you guys to boost ticket sales and promote the event will be greatly appreciated. If you have any ideas and suggestions on how to promote the event, don't be shy to give us a shout out at howtobeau@gmail.com with the subject "Ideas / Suggestions".

Last but not least, there will be a contest where you can win exclusive and limited How To Be merchandises. We'll update you on that soon :)

Thank you so much for supporting us, can't wait to see you all at the screening!

Sincerely,
How To Be Screening Organisers

  1. Ideas/Suggestions:
Send Defamer Australia (http://www.defamer.com.au/) an email about the event. She sometimes posts things about events, and may be happy to help, especially if you point out the Rob Pattinson connection.

  5. Given the whole Robert Pattinson thing which I'm assuming is the big seller, you could try contacting the people who run his fansites and ask them to post something on the sites about it. Usually these fansites with have some sort of 'contact us' link that you can follow to email them or whatever. I'm sure if they post something on his fansites your Tix will sell out quick.

I notice there is already news on the How To Be website... oh and good news, its secured a US distributer!!!! (is that the reason ppl want refunds???).... but have you posted info on the How To Be Facebook page??
